For a production together with the Royal Netherlands Navy, SB Events helped create a promo video on board the L800 (Zr.Ms. Rotterdam).
To make this project happen, we brought different skate elements to the ship — including the full Mind the Gap setup with trailer and the Cityhopper ramp. Everything was lifted onto the deck to create a one-of-a-kind skating session in a location you normally never get to skate.
To give the video extra power and international appeal, we invited Swiss pro rider Maxime Genoud. The final video was filmed and edited by Axel van Dijk, with additional camera support by Remy Cadier.
This production was part of a bigger campaign. After the video release during the Marinedagen (the public open days of the Royal Netherlands Navy), the Mind the Gap setup was also installed on-site, where the SB Events team performed shows for two days.
This project is a great example of what SB Events can do in creative productions: connecting brands, organizations, athletes and filmmakers — and turning one strong idea into a full production.
